Psyche Oracle
Privacy
This is a small, self-hosted service. We collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything about you, and you can have your data deleted on request. Governed by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Your email address — to sign you in (passwordless link/code) and to send your reading.
- Your quiz answers — the option indices you choose, so we can score your result and resume where you left off.
- Your generated readings — stored so you can return to them.
- A basic request log — e.g. IP for the free-report rate limit and abuse protection.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a customer reference and whether a purchase succeeded, so we can unlock what you bought.
How your reading is written
Paid readings are composed by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) from your quiz result. Your answers and result are sent to that service solely to generate your reading; they are not used to train it. The free result is assembled from pre-written material and involves no such call.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't run advertising trackers.
- We keep this service entirely separate from any unrelated personal or professional data.
Retention & your choices
We keep your account, answers and readings until you ask us to remove them. To access, correct or delete your data, email hello@psyche-oracle.com and we'll action it.
